Grade and Salary: Senior Physiotherapist £47,011 per annum; Physiotherapist £42,320 per annum.
FTE and working pattern: 1 FTE (full-time - 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday), with some evening and weekend work required. Based at Hampden Sports Clinic, with work at external sites as required.
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per year plus 8 bank holidays. Increases after 2 years service.
Purpose of Role
To deliver and progress a first-class physiotherapy service through evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, rehabilitation and patient-centred care to all clients attending Hampden Sports Clinic. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to achieve the highest standards of clinical practice and patient experience.
About the Team
Hampden Sports Clinic is based within Barclays Hampden in Glasgow and provides multidisciplinary clinical services to a varied client group, ranging from members of the public to elite athletes. The successful candidate will join a small, friendly and busy team committed to high standards of clinical care, professionalism and patient experience.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation to all clients referred to the Clinic.
Independently manage the client list effectively and efficiently.
Maintain accurate, confidential records of all interventions applicable to clients.
Deliver outstanding patient care and an excellent patient experience throughout every stage of the rehabilitation journey.
Design and deliver progressive exercise rehabilitation programmes appropriate to each patient’s needs and goals.
Achieve required targets for maintaining patient numbers.
Adopt a flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and occasional weekend work.
Communicate and liaise with the multidisciplinary team, including coaches, performance staff, sports scientists, strength and conditioning staff, doctors, physiotherapists and administrative staff.
Contribute to the continued growth and reputation of Hampden Sports Clinic through professionalism, excellent clinical outcomes and positive patient engagement.
Work with other sports professional bodies where required within the physiotherapist role.
Undertake a programme of CPD, including attendance at meetings and courses, and teaching as required.
Work within CSP rules of professional conduct and standards of practice.
Remain current with research in sports injury management and relevant clinical practice.
Undertake any other duties reasonably requested by the Head of Clinic Services.

Registration with the HCPC and membership of the CSP.
Minimum of five years’ post-registration experience for appointment as Senior Physiotherapist.
Minimum of two years’ post-registration experience for appointment as Physiotherapist.
Membership of the PVG Scheme.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Desirable
Experience of working within the NHS and/or a private clinic.
Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Specialist area of expertise within sports medicine (Senior Physiotherapist).
Sports First Aid qualification.
Experience of pitch-side care.
