Work-based placements in sport

Placement Agreements for Students in Sport (PASS)

PASS aims to support those seeking to build and formalise quality work-based learning experiences (placements) for students, educators and employers in sport and leisure.

To do that, sportscotland are working with the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport & Physical Activity (CIMSPA), and a range of partners and institutions across the sport, leisure, and education sectors.

We know that work-based learning experiences can develop skills and help people reach positive destinations. Placements in sport can also help the economy, boost employability for students, and enable employers to build early connections with the prospective workforce of the future. This can happen in a variety of roles across sport and leisure settings.

Our build your placement section helps educators and employers through guidance and tools to shape formal student placement experiences.

Our find a placement section connects employers with educators, and students with employers.
