Salary: £23,370.94 per annum (pro-rated £10,106.35 per annum)
Permanent, 16 hours per week
Based in Inverclyde National Centre

sportscotland is currently looking for a Guest Support Assistant to support the day-to-day delivery of sports and recreation activities at Inverclyde National Centre.

With your excellent customer service skills, you will provide customer care within the facility ensuring a safe sporting environment for all users. This will include ensuring that all relevant health and safety and fire safety policies are complied with; undertaking fire warden and first aider duties as allocated.

You will proactively undertake the safe preparation, maintenance and removal of equipment, reporting any problems to the Guest Support Manager and/or completing the repairs log.

It is expected that you will provide coaching/instruction/facilitation across a range of sports and activities, and will also be required to provide reception cover in the Centre.

The successful candidate should have a valid First Aid Certificate, and ideally an NC in Sports Management, Sports Studies or a related subject.

This position is 16 hours per week, predominately worked over Saturday and Sunday, however there may be occasions where you will be required to work during the week for holiday or sickness cover.
