Boroughmuir Thistle are seeking a Head Coach for their talented U15 NextGen team. BTFC is the largest female football club in Scotland with a full pathway for both participation and performance players and compete at the highest level of competitive youth football in Scotland with the role involving weekend travel throughout the country for matches.
The role involves planning, delivery of training sessions and preparation and managementof matches, working with the assistant coaches in delivering aspects of weekly sessions and individual development work. A successful applicant will be encouraged to actively contribute to recruitment and playerdevelopment, and contribute their ideas to ourAcademyPlaying and Training principles.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
UEFA B / Youth B required (those currently working towards may be considered)
Able to commit to 3 training sessions & 1 matchday per week (Tues / Thurs / Fri / Sun
Access to own transport
Abilityto build effective working relationshipswith players and academy staff
Committedto personal development & able to meet academy standards and expectations
Experience in the female game is desirable, a passion for developing elite female footballers is essential, you will be reporting to our Performance Academy Manager.
