Join Spartans Community Foundation and use your love of football and great football coaching skills to help change lives in North Edinburgh. We are looking for new sessional coaches for our thriving Football Development Department that delivers commercial football programmes and social impact programmes in local schools.
Job Title: Community Football Coach (sessional)
Key Objective: To provide high quality football coaching in Spartans Community Foundation’s commercial community coaching and schools programmes, specifically for young people aged 3-15 years
Responsible to: Spartans Community Foundation Football Development Officers
Works with: All Spartans Community Foundation staff, customers, volunteers and partners
Location: Spartans Community Foundation, 94 Pilton Drive, Edinburgh EH5 2HF
Salary: Dependent on qualification and age
Contract: Casual worker agreement
Hours: Various and flexible and depend upon availability and demand

Main Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high quality coaching sessions that are fun and engaging and develop football skills and a love of the game
Ensure that all sessions are delivered in a safe and enjoyable environment adhering to child protection and safeguarding best practice
To be punctual and well-presented and organise and prepare the venue and equipment prior to the arrival of participants
Complete administration tasks as required and in line with data protection guidelines
Attend in-house CPD sessions or formal training when required
Have a positive commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion
Communicate your availability for sessions efficiently to Spartans Community Foundation Football Development Officers
Always act as an ambassador for Spartans Community Foundation
