Pitch side first aider/physiotherapist for Stirling County RFC

Stirling County RFC is recruiting a chartered physiotherapist.

The role will be to provide medical provision for training nights and/or fixtures. This includes assessment, treatment and management of injuries sustained during training or match play. This role can be flexible. Training nights are Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays. We can offer a competitive rate of pay.

You will have the  opportunity to:

  • Develop your assessment, treatment and pitch side skills, 

  • Be part of a supportive and respectful club,

  • Participation in an environment involving club doctor, coaches, S&C, Women’s team, Men’s teams & U18’s teams.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for interacting with players, coaching team and medical professionals

  •  Board Membership: Active membership with a recognised professional body such as The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) or equivalent professional association

  • SCRUMCAPS Level 2 Certification (or equivalent) or the willingness to obtain it.

  • Experience in sports taping (desirable) but can be taught.
