Job Overview:
Are you looking for an opportunity to coach in a high-performance league? To gain valuable coaching experience within a first-class environment? To gain an insight into an SWPL club with a player pathway from U8s to the adult team?
We are looking for an experienced youth coach, with or working towards a UEFA B Licence to join our Next Gen Girls coaching team.
In this role you will encourage players & coaches to become the best they can be through personal leadership, setting standards, energising communication, and tact.
Main Duties:
To plan and organise weekly training session, confirm coach availability and allocate games/drills.
Ensure weekly training sessions run smoothly from set up to finish.
Gather the coaches in before the training sessions start to ensure they understand their role and the aims and outcomes of the sessions.
Engage with coaches and parents through team communication methods, i.e. Spond & WhatsApp.
Lead the team on match days.
To manage player review and feedback sessions in conjunction with the Girls Academy Manager.
Attend club coach meetings and information sessions.
Work with the Girls Academy Manager and other coaching teams to support the player pathway.
