About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for co-ordinating athletics activities and coaching. You are someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, are well organised, can think creatively to overcome challenges, and is committed to inspiring young people to develop.

About the Role

The postholder will be responsible for:

  • Co-ordinating and organising a community athletics programme that leads to a growth in membership of Aberdeen AAC.

  • Supporting Aberdeen AAC’s athlete pathway, club coaching structure and recruitment and retention of the coach workforce.

  • Leading the coordination and delivery of community athletics in identified areas of Aberdeen focusing on communities with higher levels of poverty and low income and to maximise progression into the club.
