Performance Advisory Group (PAG) PanelMember: Scottish Volleyball

Responsibilities of the Performance Advisory Group:

  • Agree on selection criteria which determines performance effectively for beach and indoor volleyball
  • Ensure the fair and equitable application of selection criteria
  • Analyse the supportive evidence provided by programme staff
  • Ratify the criteria based selection of all athletes 

Responsibilities of a PAG Panel Member:

The role of the panel member will be to provide experience and insight to the creation and application of selection criteria from a neutral perspective. The panel member will participate in confidential analysis of selection and appropriate evidence to ensure that criteria are applied fairly and without prejudice removing the appeals process through thorough due diligence. The panel member will have the opportunity to deliver Scottish Volleyball's value based approach by supporting the adherence to our core values: Professionalism, Resilience, Innovation, Communication, Excellence.

Salary: Voluntary Role (reasonable expenses paid)

Location: Scottish Volleyball Office, 48 Pleasance, Edinburgh, EH8 9TJ

Responsible to: Performance Director (Board)
