Summary of the Role:
Ayrshire Tigers are in search of a committed and enthusiastic Head Coach to lead the team throughout their campaign in the Scottish championship next season and also develop the beginners/development players. Training takes place on Tuesday evenings and the team play competitive matches on Sundays. We would like the head coach to support the technical, tactical and personal development of players within the club which includes beginners and first team players.
Main Responsibilities:
- Efficiently plan and deliver high quality training sessions.
- Communicating and delivering clear messages to all players and staff are essential in this role.
- Promote a positive and engaging environment.
- Coach team at training at Kyle Academy in Ayr on Tuesday evenings and at SPFA competitions on Sundays.
- Work collaboratively with coach development officer and Board of Trustees.
- Provide regular, constructive feedback to players and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
- Support the delivery of individual player development plans and home learning tasks.
- Accurately complete player reviews and match reports.
- Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare standards in all coaching activities.
- Represent the club professionally during all activities.
Support
- You will also have the opportunity to work alongside our Coach Development Officer to grow our player pathway.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous coaching experience preferably in some form of football
- Flexible availability for evening training and weekend fixtures
- Passion for working with para-footballers in a mixed age group and player-centred environment
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
· 1.2 Youth & Adult Coaching Award
