Who we are

The First Team competes in the top tier of BUCS in Scotland (BUCS 1A), as well as the SLBA, where they face strong club competition across Glasgow.

In the 2025/26 season, the First Team achieved 2nd-place finish in BUCS 1A and placed 4th in the SLBA. They also secured 2nd place at the International Les Parisiennes Tournament in Paris. Building on these successes, the team are aiming to go even further next season, with ambitions of claiming the BUCS title and continuing to improve performances across all competitions.

Fixtures are played on Wednesdays (BUCS), with additional SLBA games taking place on weekends and selected weeknights, averaging one extra fixture per week.

The team trains twice a week and benefits from access to the University’s excellent Strength & Conditioning facilities. Sessions are designed to be both challenging and enjoyable, creating an environment that supports player development, improves fitness and basketball performance, and helps the team continue its pursuit of success.
