Reporting to Women's First Team Head Coach
Purpose
We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and knowledgeable Volunteer Women's Goalkeeping Coach to join our growing Women's First Team Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a progressive football environment focused on player development, performance and long-term success.
This voluntary role is ideal for a coach looking to gain experience within a structured club environment while making a meaningful impact in the women's game.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high quality, position specific goalkeeping sessions aligned with the club's playing philosophy
Provide matchday support, including warm up's, in game observation and post-match feedback
Develop and implement individual performance and development plans for goalkeepers
Analyse performances and provide constructive technical and tactical feedback
Work collaboratively with the Head Coach and wider staff to support team tactical objectives
Assist with set piece organisation, particularly defensive structures
Contribute to the development and organisation of the defensive unit
What we are looking for
A passionate and driven individual with a keen interest in goalkeeper development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan, organise and deliver structured coaching sessions
Understanding of modern goalkeeping techniques and tactical requirements
A team player with a positive proactive approach
Previous coaching experience desirable
Relevant coaching qualifications or working toward are advantageous
Commitment Required
Attendance at two evening training sessions per week at Foundation Park
Availability for Sunday matchdays
Willingness to engage in occasional planning and review work outside of sessions
