Casual Matchday Sports Therapist: Hamilton Academical Women’s & Girls FC

Role: Casual Matchday Sports Therapist
Commitment: Ad-hoc matchday support (as available)
Payment: £50 per match

Hamilton Academical Women’s & Girls FC are looking to build a bank of reliable and enthusiastic Sports Therapists to support our teams throughout the season.

This is a great opportunity for qualified therapists, sports rehabilitation professionals, physiotherapists, or those working towards their qualification who want to gain experience within a growing women’s and girls’ football environment.

Matchday therapists will provide pitch-side support, player care and injury management alongside our coaching and club staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide matchday pitch-side support.

  • Assess and manage minor injuries and player concerns.

  • Support player wellbeing, injury prevention and recovery.

  • Communicate with coaches regarding player fitness and availability.

  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, confidentiality and safeguarding.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has a relevant Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation or Physiotherapy qualification (or is working towards one).

  • Has experience supporting athletes or sports teams.

  • Is reliable, approachable and professional.

  • Works well as part of a team.

  • Has a passion for supporting female athletes and player development.

Desirable Experience:

  • Football or matchday experience.

  • Women’s and girls’ football experience.

  • Injury rehabilitation and prevention knowledge.
