This role combines safeguarding leadership, project development, direct outreach and volunteer development.
The Youth and Safeguarding Lead will be the Foundation’s Lead Safeguarding Officer. You will ensure safeguarding measures and documentation are in place, and will support the team in making sure our Foundation remains inclusive, responsive, and safe.
You will co-design and deliver youth-focused community programmes that reflect the needs, aspirations, and lived experiences of young people across our communities. You will build trusted relationships with families, schools, and community partners.
You will work closely with the Head of Community and the Managing Director to shape programme strategy, embed safeguarding and wellbeing into every aspect of delivery, and support staff in developing a robust volunteering framework. This includes helping to create meaningful volunteer roles, youth leadership pathways, and safe, well-supported environments for everyone involved.
