The Club Development Officer will play a central role in strengthening the development, sustainability and impact of sports clubs & Community Sport Hubs across East Ayrshire. With a strong focus on sports development and clear school-to-club pathways, the postholder will work in partnership with Active Schools, Community Sports Hubs, National Governing Bodies and local organisations to increase participation in club sport and widen the diversity of those involved.
The role will support the development of stronger, more sustainable, safer and more inclusive clubs by working closely with committees to reduce pressure on volunteers, support the recruitment, development and retention of staff and volunteers, and ensure appropriate legal structures, effective governance and succession planning are in place.
