The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Rangers Football Club’s Commercial & Marketing department as Partnership Sales Executive.

The Partnership Sales Executive is a key appointment and comes at an exciting time as the Club enters a period of considerable growth in its partnerships and sales strategy.  As a member of the Partnership sales department, the Partnership Sales Executive will be expected to take a proactive approach to creating and developing new sales leads which lead to new partnership sales for the Club.

The role will be outbound sales focused, responsible for identifying, contacting, and selling to potential new partnership leads enhancing commercial revenue and developing the Club’s partnership programme.

The Partnerships Sales Executive will work with the Head of Commercial Partnerships to continually evolve the partnership sales programme and enhance commercial revenue.

Key responsibilities

  • Actively contact businesses, brands and individuals to sell a range of sponsorship and partnership packages as identified by the Head of Commercial and partnership sales team
  • Working as part of a partnership sales team to ensure an extensive list of brands are identified, contacted, pitched and sold a range of partnership packages
  • Conduct detailed research and actively identify brands to contact
  • Manage diary effectively to contact brands and arrange meetings to sell a range of partnership packages
  • Arrange face to face meetings and present to brands using a variety of different presentation formats
  • Assist in producing detailed and interesting sales decks to meet a brand’s specific objectives
  • Responsible for ownership of individual sales pipeline and ensuring all leads are actioned and up to date
  • Responsible for meeting sales targets identified and set by the Head of Commercial Partnerships
  • Actively consider new approaches to sponsorship and partnerships and new inventory to maximise sales
  • Prepare, maintain and present regular sales updates to the Head of Commercial Partnerships
  • Any other duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the Head of Commercial Partnerships
  • Key account management of all Business Club Members ensuring each Member receives all partnership rights
  • Actively arrange Business Club networking event and other events to engage with all Business Club members
