Community Sports & Funding Officer: The Well Foundation

Pay: National Living Wage, £13.50 per hour
Hours: 16 hours per week
Funding: Funded post through the sportscotland Club Support Programme
Location: Flexible — Home, Ravenscraig RSF & The Well Foundation offices

The Well Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Community Sports & Funding Officer to support the delivery, administration and continued growth of our community sports programmes.

You will play an important role in the day-to-day running of The Well Foundation Sports, supporting children's and adult activities, coaches and volunteers, registrations & payments, social media, partnerships, funding applications and the development of new sporting opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an award-winning charity supporting hundreds of young people and adults in Lanarkshire every week.

You must possess a relevant sports qualification or experience, and as part of a strong team, you will be responsible for planning, organising and delivering an appropriate range of sports activities. You will be a dynamic and experienced person who will inspire young people & adults to achieve their full potential, delivering top-quality programmes to increase participation and physical activity.

As a requirement of this post, the successful candidate must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland. A Scheme Update costs £18 for existing PVG members; new membership costs £59.
