Boroughmuir Thistle 2012 Purples are looking for an ambitious and committed Lead Coach to lead the team into the next stage of its development.
The Purples are currently in the title race for South East Tier 1 and are looking to build on a highly successful period with the ambition of making the step up to Scottish Youth Performance League (YPL) football.
The team has a strong attacking identity, built around playing from the back, keeping possession and pressing high. The squad is talented, committed and supported by engaged parents.
The team has also demonstrated that it can compete with YPL opposition, narrowly losing 5-6 to St Mirren YPL in the Challenge Cup Round of 16.
We are looking for a coach who can:
Maintain a positive, ambitious and challenging environment
Continue developing the team technically and tactically
Develop players individually as well as collectively
Relevant Scottish FA coaching qualifications and experience in girls' youth football are desirable.
