An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the management team at The Pickaquoy Centre, one of Scotland's leading community leisure, sport and events facilities.
The Pickaquoy Centre Trust is at the heart of community life in Orkney, delivering a diverse range of sport, leisure, arts, events and conference activities from one of Scotland's most unique multi-purpose facilities.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Duty Manager to join our management team.
This is a varied and rewarding role with responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the Centre, leading teams, maintaining high standards of customer service and safety, and ensuring the smooth delivery of activities across our facilities.
You will be a confident leader with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to support and motivate teams in a busy operational environment. Previous supervisory or management experience is essential, ideally within sport, leisure, hospitality or a customer-focused setting.
