Position Type: Part-time, voluntary
Tuesday and Thursday night training with Sunday games
Overview:
Rossvale Football Club are seeking a dedicated Sport Scientist to support the Women’s team, playing within the SWPL 2, to enhance their performance. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sports science and women’s football, looking to gain practical experience while contributing to the development of our players.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of players physical fitness, strength, and conditioning.
- Develop and implement tailored training programs that focus on improving performance metrics.
- Monitor and analyse players’ progress through data collection and performance analysis.
- Provide guidance on recovery strategies and injury prevention.
- Collaborate with coaching staff to integrate sport science principles into training sessions.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Sport Science, Exercise Physiology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of sports performance, training methodologies, and athlete development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Passion for women’s sports
