Lead / Assistant Para Delivery Coaches: Inverness CT Community Development Trust

Responsible to: Senior Community Team (Trust Manager, Trust Assistant Manager, Para Development Officer)

Responsible for: Assistant Para Coaches

Contracted Hours: 17 Hours Per Month

Salary: Competitive

Type of Work: Fixed Term - 1 Year - Evenings and Weekends

Main Role

To deliver high quality football coaching sessions running in accordance with the ‘Best Practice’ philosophy of the Inverness CT Community Development Trust. To offer social and emotional support to those who attend our sessions. To communicate effectively as part of the ICTCD team to ensure high quality programming and sessions. To communicate effectively with schools, partners and service users. To adhere to all ICTCD policies and procedures at all times. To positively promote ICTCD to ensure growth and expansion.

Duties

To lead and/or assist one of the Inverness CT Community Development Trust's key charitable aims of para football. With particular focus on creating an environment for those with additional needs to help them thrive in physical, social and emotional development.

Qualifications

HNC in related Sports Field Child Wellbeing in Scottish Football Equality and Awareness Certificate (can be completed after accepting the post). SFA 1.3 A successful applicant will be required to successfully apply for a PVG

Experience

Previous experience working with adults Previous experience running sports sessions. Previous experience working for a charitable organisation.

Personal Qualities

  • Driver's License
  • Willingness to lead independently. 
  • Enthusiastic and driven personality.
