Head of Girls Hockey Development Pathway - Inverleith HC, Edinburgh

Are you an inspirational coach and leader? Do you believe young people can improve their health and resilience through being part of a sports team?

Inverleith Hockey Club is looking for an experienced coach to become head our girls hockey development pathway. You would be in charge of organising challenging and inclusive hockey activities for up to 60 girls aged from 13 to 17, you will be managing and developing assistant coaches and young volunteers, as well as on-pitch coaching. 

Hours and pay

This is a paid role for a minimum of 4 hours per week split between Tuesday evenings and Sunday afternoons for 26 weeks between 17 August 25 and 30 April 2026. 104 hours minimum over the contract period. 

There are additional coaching opportunities in the club in the senior women's section and mixed under 14s age group that could add up to a further 8 hours of paid work. 

£15-£25 per hour negotiable based on qualifications and experience

This is a self employed position and you will need to pay your own tax and National insurance.
