Football Coaches: The University of Stirling

The University of Stirling is hiring head coaches and assistant coaches for a number of teams. All playing abilities are catered for by the lively, friendly, and inclusive University of Stirling Women's Football Club (SULFC). With four BUCS Wednesday teams and a competitive futsal team, Sulfc is one of the biggest female clubs at the University of Stirling. 

We are seeking a self-driven individual who shares our desire to build this team with both technical expertise and a love of women in sports. To accomplish this, the head coach will collaborate with our other staff members and the student-led committee to create a culture of continual improvement. Other club coaches, the club's collaboration with the Stirling University Sports Association, UoS athletic staff

Requirements 

  • Scottish/Equivalent Level 1.1 Coaching Qualification (minimum) for assistant and Level 1.2 for Head coach
  • Experience coaching competitive football (Women’s adult football preferred but not essential.)
  • First Aid training preferred

Responsibilities 

  • Prepare and deliver all coaching sessions for the team- 2x 1.5hour training sessions
  • Oversee squad selection for all match days.
  • Lead the teams on all BUCS league and Cup Match Days (Most Wednesdays from October- February, hours may differ on away days
  • Planning for fixtures.
  • Arrange and deliver comprehensive training and game plans for players.

Pay - Assistant coaches will be on a volunteer bases with the club supporting coaching badges up until 1.3

Head coach will be paid £12 per hour
