Facilities Assistant
Salary: £13.67 per hour
Fixed term for 3 months, casual/ad-hoc hours
Based at Glenmore Lodge, Aviemore

Do you have experience within a stores or customer service environment? Have you got a technical understanding of kit and equipment used in outdoor adventure sports? If so, this might be the role for you!

sportscotland is currently looking for two Facilities Assistants to provide a high-quality, efficient and customer focused provision of equipment stores services at Glenmore Lodge.

We will be looking for someone who is familiar with stock control systems, as you will be required to maintain and oversee a system of recording of equipment in line with centre policies and guidance.

As a competent communicator, you will maintain a high level of professional engagement and customer service with all visitors to stores and communicate internally with colleagues; working closely to ensure availability of store/equipment to meet the needs of the training program. Ideally you will also have previous experience of working in the outdoor/leisure sector with related equipment.

The Facilities Assistant post mainly involves working in stores, however will also include other aspects of facilities services including maintenance and support of all on site facilities, equipment stores, vehicle fleet, grounds, and utilities.
