About the club:

  • Established 1965, official graduate team of Strathclyde University FC

  • Celebrated 60thanniversary in 2025

  • Growing charity with social purposes in addition of football competitiveness

  • Home base at Stepps Playing Fields, some of the best grass pitches in the Central Belt

Training sessions 2 x per week. Days of week and locations are being determined at the moment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Caledonian team, Cambria’s first team

  • Plan & organise training sessions

  • Manage players attendance at training & games

  • Attend one monthly committee meeting on the running of the club (1h30 min – virtual)

  • Volunteer able to attend 90% of sessions & games

  • Full kit provided to successful applicant

Desirable Qualities

  • UK Drivers Licence

  • Contacts to attract players to club would be advantageous.

  • Previous experience of managing men's football teams.
