Salary: £24,870.94 per annum (Grade 1)
Permanent, full-time (37 hours)
Based in National Centre Glenmore Lodge, Aviemore, Inverness-shire, PH22 1QZ

 sportscotland Glenmore Lodge is Scotland’s National Outdoor Training Centre, where our aim is to offer world class training in outdoor adventure sports and encourage more people to enjoy the outdoors more often.

sportscotland is currently looking for a Facilities Assistant to provide a high-quality, efficient and customer focused provision of equipment stores and facilities services at Glenmore Lodge.

As the Facilities Assistant, you will be involved with general maintenance and support of all on-site facilities, equipment, vehicle fleet, grounds and utilities. There will be weekend working required in this position, so the successful candidate must be available for this. 

No accommodation is available however there is area for van/electronic hook-up. We may be also able to offer this position on a seasonal basis for the right candidate. 

You should be a competent communicator, able provide a high level of customer service to all visitors to the stores. You should also be able to communicate internally with colleagues ensuring availability of store/equipment to meet the needs of the training program.

Ideally you will have previous relevant experience of working in the outdoor/leisure sector, as well as a D1 driving license as you will be driving the minibus, however full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
