Disability Sport Glasgow (DSG) are currently seeking a Vice Chairperson to assist with the development of disability sport in Glasgow and the West.
The voluntary position is essential for the development of opportunities in sport & physical activity for people with a disability across Glasgow and the West.
Responsible to: DSG Management Committee

Main duties:
- Assist with the management and the affairs of the branch.
- Help to guide all decisions taken by the Management Committee and sub committees.
- (In the absence of the Chairperson) chair and manage Committee meetings efficiently and fairly.
- In conjunction with the Secretary and Chairperson, prepare and present the annual report.
- Liaise with the Secretary, Chairperson and Coordinator on the Agenda for each meeting.
- Be completely familiar with the constitution and all other branch policies and procedures and with SDS rules and regulations.
- Help to prepare and submit any statutory documents that are required (ie. OSCR, grant aid reports, chairperson report prior to AGM)
- Liaise with the Treasurer and Chairperson to ensure that funds are spent properly and in the best interests of the branch.
Time commitment:
- Attend quarterly branch meetings and two sub-group meetings annually
- Flexible weekly working hours
