sportscotland is currently looking for two Guest Support Assistants to support the day-to-day delivery of sports and recreation activities at National Centre Inverclyde. We have one permanent full‑time position (35 hours per week) and one permanent part‑time position (17.5 hours per week) available. Please indicate in your application which role you would like to be considered for.

With your excellent customer service skills, you will provide customer care within the facility ensuring a safe sporting environment for all users. This will include ensuring that all relevant health and safety and fire safety policies are complied with, undertaking fire warden and first aider duties as allocated. 

You will proactively undertake safe preparation, maintenance and removal of equipment, reporting any problems to the Guest Support Manager and/or completing the repairs log.

It is expected that you will provide coaching/instruction/facilitation across a range of sports and activities and will also be required to provide reception cover in the Centre.

The successful candidate should have a valid First Aid Certificate, and ideally an NC in Sports Management, Sports Studies or a related subject.
