Head Coach - Dalziel Rugby Club’s Senior Women’s Team

Dalziel Rugby Club are looking to recruit a head coach to lead and develop our women’s senior team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the development and growth of women’s rugby at Dalziel Rugby Club.

Skills and Experience

  • Key knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the laws and the game.

  • Appreciation of women’s sport and it’s challenges.

  • Ability to deliver constructive individual and team feedback.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and management skills.

  • Experience of planning and delivering engaging training sessions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of SRU Coaching Essentials.

  • Previous experience of coaching rugby.

  • A passion for growing and championing women’s sport.

  • A commitment to inclusion and diversity.

More Information

Whilst this is not a full time position, the successful candidate will be expected to dedicate the required time and commitment to the role of women’s head coach. Training currently takes place one night per week. Appropriate travelling expenses will be paid for this position.

Support will be offered to develop your coaching career from our current club coaches, the club coaching convenor and the club will support the successful candidate through the relevant SRU Coaching Qualification and other qualifications that will support the successful candidate’s coaching CPD.
