Role Type: Voluntary
Term: 4 Years (with the potential to serve up to 8 years)
Time Commitment: Attend 6-12 meetings and events (2–3 hours each)

The Role
This role is a unique opportunity to shape the fundraising strategy during an exciting period of development. While specific knowledge of wrestling isn’t required, you must bring expertise in fundraising, combined with a collaborative and strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a fundraising strategy with clear targets.
- Build and nurture relationships with sponsors and partners.
- Plan and manage effective fundraising campaigns and events.
- Identify grant opportunities, prepare proposals, and ensure compliance.
- Ensure fundraising activities meet legal and ethical standards.
- Lead, mentor, and support the fundraising team.
- Represent the organisation at external events and meetings.
- Explore innovative channels to diversify revenue streams.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in fundraising, sponsorships, or grant management.
- Strong track record in developing and executing successful fundraising campaigns.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with sponsors, partners and funding bodies.
- Experience in writing compelling grant proposals and funding applications.
- Knowledge of financial management and budgeting for fundraising initiatives.
- Familiarity with fundraising regulations, compliance, and ethical standards.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and external stakeholders.
