Salary: £9,523 (for 15 hours per week)

Reports to: The Stadium Manager

Grangemouth Community Sports Trust is a charity set up to manage Grangemouth Stadium for community benefit.

Grangemouth Stadium is central Scotland's premier athletics training and competition facility and hosts a large number of regional, national and international events, squad training days and coaching conferences. It has been the home of many Olympic and Commonwealth squad teams for training and boasts the relocated Hampden track from the 2014 Commonwealth Games. It is home to Falkirk Victoria Harriers and Forth Valley Flyers and is of huge importance to the local community.

Main duties and responsibilities

You will join a newly created team at a premier sports facility, Grangemouth Stadium.

  • Your key task is to keep the facilities at The Stadium clean and hygienic. This will include cleaning activity areas, reception and entrance hall, changing rooms, toilets and showers, office areas and meeting rooms
  • General cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, floor mopping, window and mirror cleaning and bin emptying
  • Maintaining cleaning supplies and notifying the Office Administrator of restocking needs

Education and qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role

Essential and desirable skills /experience/attributes

  • Previous experience of cleaning a public/community facility (Essential)
  • Experience of using cleaning equipment and products (Essential)
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work on your own (Essential)
  • Physical capability to carry out manual cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving (Essential)
  • Reliability and attention to detail (Essential)

Working conditions

  • 15 hours per week across 5 days per week (3.30 pm to 6.30 pm, Monday to Friday)
  • Permanent, part-time
  • Based at The Stadium, working indoors and outdoors
