Badminton Scotland is on an exciting journey to grow, diversify and strengthen our sport at all levels—from grassroots to elite performance. We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Membership Officer to play a vital role in building a thriving, engaged and expanding badminton community across Scotland.
You’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our members have a positive, seamless experience, our data systems are accurate and insightful, and our membership base continues to grow and evolve. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and data, and who is passionate about helping a national governing body deliver impact through membership.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and maintaining our membership database and CRM, ensuring data accuracy and GDPR compliance.
- Supporting clubs and members with day-to-day queries and system navigation.
- Providing regular data reports and insights to inform strategic decisions and monitor growth.
- Leading the administration of membership registrations, renewals and fee collection.
- Supporting campaigns and initiatives that drive member engagement, satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure membership aligns with events, programmes and development priorities.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding member service.
- Confident using databases, CRM systems and Excel—comfortable analysing and presenting data.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Passion for sport and its ability to bring people together from all backgrounds.
