What sport are you involved in and what is it that you love about it?

I used to compete in synchro skating for Scotland and GB for five years and skated in figure for 7 years. I am also very involved in the PE department in school.

What motivated you to be part of the Young People’s Sport Panel?

I am pleased to be on the Young People’s Sport Panel as I now have the opportunity to share the positive impact of sport on my life and the amazing people I have met.

How do you think sport can help support young people in Scotland?

I love being involved in sport because it can help young people to stay healthy and also look after our mental health. It can also help to make and grow new friendships as well as giving young people something positive to work towards.

Is there a role model who inspires you? What is it about them that you admire?

My role model is my dad as he is an ultra-runner and has taught me to always push myself and never give up. My mum has also supported me through skating and being my taxi to the rink every morning.
