Triathlon Development Officer: Triathlon Scotland

£24k & pension contribution + other benefits

Would you love to work with an organisation who believes that through taking part in our sport we can have a positive impact on people’s lives? We now have a vacancy to join our vibrant team in Stirling and to reach out across Scotland to support our growing network of clubs and develop our introduction to triathlon offer.

As part of our new strategic plan Triathlon Scotland are intent on reaching out to a wider audience, to make the sport as inclusive as we can and to provide people with the opportunity to have fun, make new friends, learn new skills and improve health and well-being.

In partnership with sportscotland, Triathlon Scotland are looking to appoint a Triathlon Development Officer with a primary focus on adult participation. You will have a lead role for the development of accessible, inclusive entry level formats to the sport. You will work with a range of partners to provide opportunities to experience and progress in triathlon and work closely with clubs to support them to become fantastic clubs.

If you have a good understanding of the sporting landscape and the barriers that exist to stop people taking part, have experience of engaging new audiences in a sport/leisure community context and have excellent interpersonal and networking skills as well as a fun and can do approach then this might be for you!
