Learning and Development contractor (concussion education activities)

Contract description: 

sportscotland is looking to secure the services of a Learning and Development contractor to deliver the objectives of a concussion education project within Scottish sport  
The practitioner will be required to develop an education program aimed at raising awareness of the impact of concussion within sport, promote the delivery of the programme through key stakeholders, which is expected to drive behavioural change.  The activities and resources will be aimed at athletes, parents and club staff. 
Research findings and concise guidance will be provided, therefore there is no requirement for the learning and development practitioner to be medically trained. 

As part of the contract, the contractor will be expected to source and produce promotional materials to raise awareness of the impacts of concussion within sport. 

There will also be a requirement to develop a reactive service to target education to areas where poor practice is reported within sport.
