About the Role

As our Financial Controller, you’ll be the right-hand to the CFO, ensuring our financial systems, processes, and reporting are best-in-class. You’ll take ownership of our financial operations, leading a high-performing team while driving automation and process improvements. Your expertise will shape our governance structures, ensure compliance, and provide invaluable commercial insights that influence key business decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading financial operations – Oversee financial systems, including NetSuite, ensuring seamless transactions and reporting.
  • Driving automation & efficiency – Identify and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy and productivity.
  • Managing compliance & risk – Ensure governance structures are in place while managing tax affairs, statutory accounts, and reporting.
  • Providing financial insight – Partner with internal stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and budgeting.
  • Building key relationships – Act as the main contact for banks, auditors, tax advisors, and software providers.

What We’re Looking For

  • A finance professional with experience in financial operations, reporting, and internal controls.
  • A tech-savvy mindset, with a passion for automation and improving financial systems.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving efficiency.
  • Expertise in statutory accounts & tax compliance, including VAT and Corporation Tax.
  • A confident communicator who can partner with senior stakeholders and external advisors.
