Event Volunteers: Forth Valley Recovery Community's National Recovery Olympics

We are looking for: Event Volunteers

For : Forth Valley Recovery Community's National Recovery Olympics

Opportunity:

We are looking for volunteers to help with the running of the day. From assisting parking, to marshalling races, helping at the bouncy castle, race score taking etc. The event is inviting recovery communities from all over Scotland to come and compete in a sports day themed event. It is about making recovery from substances visible, reducing stigma and connecting people in recovery.

About the event:

We are in the process of organising our First FVRC National Recovery Olympics. It will have a sports day theme with races such as Sprints, 3 legged race, egg and spoon, wheel barrow, sack race, relay race and tug of war. We are inviting recovery communities, organisations and partners from across Scotland that have an interest in recovery from addiction to enter teams and come together to make connections with others in recovery from substance use. We want this to be a free event so that community members can bring their family and friends along and fully enjoy being part of the day without having to worry about the financial cost.

When and Where:

Friday 1st of July 2022 Forthbank Stadium, Forthside Way, Stirling, FK7 7UJ

9am-6pm
