Director of Rugby Development: Scottish Rugby

Scottish Rugby is the governing body for rugby union in Scotland. Our role is to grow the game and inspire Scotland through rugby in line with our values of respect, leadership, achievement, engagement and enjoyment.

We are currently recruiting for the role of Director of Rugby Development. This is an Executive Director role responsible for leading the Rugby Development team and developing and implementing the strategic plan for community rugby across Scotland.

To be successful in this role you need to be an exceptional leader, who role models transformational leadership in every aspect of life.

You’ll be leading the team to deliver an exciting strategy in a challenging times. Therefore, to have a proven track record of delivering change is essential. You’ll need to be experienced in developing alliances, engaging and influencing a wide range of stakeholders; from Council members and Non Exec Directors, to government and public bodies, and most importantly, our rugby clubs, schools and communities.
