Are you a passionate and ambitious student physiotherapist looking to gain hands-on experience in elite football? We're offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to oversee the physiotherapy provision for our Men's U20 and Academy squads, while also gaining invaluable experience working alongside our senior first team physiotherapist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate physiotherapy support for U20 and Academy players, including assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation planning.
- Assist the Senior First-Team Physiotherapist with injury management, matchday preparation, recovery protocols, and pitch-side support as required.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all players under your care.
- Liaise closely with coaching staff, strength & conditioning, and medical personnel to deliver integrated player care.
- Promote best practices in injury prevention and player wellbeing.
What We're Looking For:
- Currently studying toward a degree in Physiotherapy (or related discipline), ideally in penultimate or final year.
- Previous experience working in a sporting environment-particularly football-is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for sports physiotherapy and a strong desire to learn and develop clinically in a performance setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with players and staff across all levels.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with the confidence to work independently when needed, while also being a dependable and collaborative member of a wider multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage clinical duties alongside academic commitments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of the training and match calendar.
