Events and Marketing Manager: Falkirk FC

A exciting opportunity has become available to be a part of Falkirk Football Club’s Commercial Department.

Salary: £28,000 + Commission structure

Role Purpose

To lead the club’s events and stadium-hire operation across all Falkirk FC-owned spaces, driving revenue growth, increasing utilisation and establishing these areas as high-performing commercial assets.

The role is responsible for delivering all events and fundraising activity under the Falkirk Events brand, generating income to support the Falkirk FC Academy system and wider club.

Key spaces include the YES Hire Fanzone, Brockville Bar, behind-the-goals bar, gym, meeting rooms, and concourse areas.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Development

  • Build and manage the annual events and stadium-hire calendar measured against defined revenue and utilisation targets

  • Develop new revenue streams across club-owned spaces

  • Create and market packages for events, tours and bookings

  • Convert enquiries and proactively generate new business

  • Provide projections and report performance against targets

  • Drive continuous improvement across the club’s growing venue portfolio

Event Management

  • Plan, organise and deliver events end to end

  • Coordinate logistics, staffing, equipment and security

  • Manage cash handling and reconcile takings

  • Lead event set-up and close-down

  • Ensure best-in-class supporter and client experience

Venue Operations

  • Oversee operations of the YES Hire Fanzone, Brockville Bar and behind-the-goals bar

  • Manage bookings for gym, meeting rooms and training pitch

  • Ensure all spaces are presented to a professional standard

  • Maintain licensing, H&S and compliance across all operated venues

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Work closely with the Commercial Manager on strategy

  • Provide regular updates on performance, risks and opportunities

  • Lead casual event staff and contractors when required

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven events or venue management experience

  • Strong commercial focus and ability to meet targets

  • Excellent organisational and project management skills

  • Confident managing bars and licenced environments

  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills

  • Comfortable with physical tasks and manual handling

  • Personal alcohol licence or willingness to obtain

  • PVG or willingness to obtain

  • Flexible for evenings, weekends and event-heavy periods

Desirable

  • Stadium or major-venue experience

  • Understanding of licensing and event compliance

Working Pattern

Full-time, based at Falkirk StadiumEvenings and weekends required
