Workforce Officer: Scottish Cycling

Following a staff secondment to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games there is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Scottish Cycling on a 6 month fixed-term basis, supporting our coaching and event volunteer communities.

This Workforce Officer will be central in supporting Scottish Cycling to positively impact the quantity and quality of knowledgeable and empowered people across a number of roles including coaching, officiating and event volunteers. The key focusses of the role are to support the deployment and development of the volunteer workforce through the summer season of competition and to support the delivery of coach education courses throughout the period.

You will play a pivotal role in our team, working closely with our Coaching Development Manager and Events Manager. Central to the success of the role will be the ability to quickly build robust relationships with clubs and coaches, event organisers and officials.

We are looking for a forward-thinking and hard-working individual who will bring enthusiasm to their role, using their skills and experience to provide excellent customer service and ensure coaches and volunteers feel supported in the delivery of the sport.
