City of Glasgow College Sports Coaching department are seeking employers in the sport sector (SGBs, Trusts, LAs, Sports Clubs, Charities) who can provide a work-based placement experience for 1 or more students.
We have students undertaking a variety of course levels through NQ, HNC and HND all of which require volunteering placements.
We are looking for organisations who can give them access to a variety of coaching settings and participants suitable to the students' study requirements.
Some of our modules also require students to fulfil non-coaching roles within sports environments (i.e administrative support/event management roles), which could be discussed further if this was of interest.
Students have been encouraged to volunteer throughout the full academic year, the remaining window for this would be from January until April, with hopes that this can continue into subsequent years of study where applicable.
Students will require mentoring from the employer and will be supported by the college throughout.
