Charges for sports facilities

sportscotland conducts an annual review of local authority charges for sports participation in Scotland. The main aim of the review is to produce an up to date digest summarising the charges for the most popular sports facilities and activities in Scotland. We report the average charge reported by each local authority for each activity.

In 2022/23 we collected supplementary information relating to the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic and the impact of rising energy costs on sport facilities.

2023/24

sportscotland are doublechecking the data, titles, and definitions of swimming charges to ensure swimming charges are accurate and representative. Swimming charges will be released as soon as possible.
