Zenab joined LeaderBoard to champion inclusion and break down barriers facing ethnically diverse communities in sport, especially young girls. A former competitive footballer with Hearts FC, she was forced to give up the game due to cultural constraints, an experience that sparked her drive to create more inclusive sporting environments. Now working as a grants officer tackling Islamophobia, she brings skills in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and project management. Through LeaderBoard, Zenab aims to refine her governance knowledge and leadership skills to influence sports organisations at a strategic level and ensure equal access and opportunity for all, regardless of background.
