Amara joined LeaderBoard to champion diversity and inclusion in sports, driven by her personal experiences of racism and challenges faced by ethnically diverse44 communities, including hijabi athletes. As a long-time football player and team captain, she is passionate about creating welcoming environments where everyone feels comfortable participating. Amara aims to use the programme to strengthen her leadership, communication, and teamwork skills to better support others and influence positive change in sports organisations. Her goal is to help break down barriers and encourage greater participation among underrepresented communities.
