Ammara joined LeaderBoard to promote inclusivity and representation in outdoor activities and sport, especially encouraging more women and ethnically diverse communities to participate. As a Pakistani Scottish equity and inclusion officer for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, she works to extend opportunities for young people from diverse backgrounds. Ammara aims to develop her skills in leading conversations on diversity and inclusion, and to connect with like-minded individuals to empower communities to take on leadership roles in sport and outdoors. She brings experience in education, community work, and social policy focused on tackling inequalities.
