To work in our Sports Development team, we are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Netball Head Coaches, who will deliver fun, safe and engaging coaching sessions, to the people involved in our Sports Development program and mentor and develop our current Level 1 Netball Coaches.

We have ambitious plans for Netball in Falkirk. As a Head Coach, your main role is all about leading the delivery of a creative, fun and structured coaching session. We are looking for great people, who naturally have these qualities. Your role will also involve inspiring and motivating the people involved in our netball programme to develop their skills and promote the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle through sport.

Coaching sessions will be delivered at various sports facilities throughout Falkirk. The post requires self-motivation, flexibility, team work and good communication skills. Currently our Netball provision includes the following sessions with the options of additional hours for delivery at holiday camps and Netball Festivals.

There are 2 posts available, please see below for working schedules and hours:

(Post 1: 1.5hrs/week) Tuesday, Adult Netball, Bo’ness Recreation Centre, 6.15pm to 7.45pm
(Post 2: 2.5hrs/week) Thursday, Junior Netball , Larbert High School, 5.45pm to 8.15pm

These are term time posts.

We are looking for candidates who hold or are in the process of working towards a UKCC level 2 Netball qualification.

If you are the successful candidate for this post, you will be working with children and/or vulnerable adults and therefore you must have PVG membership.

The successful candidate will be employed by Falkirk Community Trust. The Trust is a charitable company set up by Falkirk Council to deliver culture, library, recreation and sport services on its behalf from 1st July 2011.
