The biggest cycling event to ever take place in the world, the inaugural UCI Cycling World Championships will be held in Glasgow and Scotland in 2023, combining 13 existing World Championships for the first time ever.
A new era is dawning, and we are seeking the right people for three new, exciting roles; Director of Sport, Director of Operations and Director of Commercial, Marketing and Communications. Candidates should be able to demonstrate senior level experience in similar roles and in-depth knowledge of the relevant work areas. In addition, we are looking for people with a passion for leadership, collaboration, and negotiation. All three senior positions will be required to manage key strategic partnerships, devise an implement plans for their areas of responsibility and ensure the event meets is delivery and policy objectives. Above all we need people with the skills, knowledge and determination to deliver a superb event and use cycling to create significant impact for Glasgow and Scotland.

Director of Operations
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Operations will lead on all operational aspects of the event including developing operational delivery strategies, budget, implementation and innovation. The role will work closely with UCI to and ensure the event is delivered to specification and meeting all Scottish and local Government obligations.
