Social Media Manager (Voluntary): Scottish Surfing

Salary: Voluntary, with eligible expenses paid

Location: Remote, with occasional travel for events

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Time Commitment: 1 day per week, on average

Who are we?

Formed in 1975 the Scottish Surfing Federation (Caidreachas Surfadh na h-Alba, known as Scottish Surfing) is a membership organisation and the National Governing Body for the sport in Scotland. We oversee participation, progression and performance across all our disciplines (short boarding, knee boarding, long boarding, body boarding, skim boarding, tandem surfing, tow in surfing, standup paddleboarding, body surfing and all forms of para and adaptive surfing). As a registered charity, we also play a wider role in promoting water safety, improving conditions of life and in protecting our natural environment

Our core purpose is to positively impact lives through our sport.

As such, we are looking to recruit a Voluntary Social Media Manager to support our communications and outreach efforts.

This role will be critical in helping us connect with our audience, grow our online presence, and ensure our message reaches the right people. If you are passionate about social media, digital storytelling, and community engagement, we would love to hear from you!

What is the role?

Scottish Surfing is looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to manage and grow our social media presence.

The successful candidate will bring their knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategy to enhance our engagement, visibility, and brand awareness.
