The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sport Competition Manager – 3x3 Basketball and 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball to join our Sport team at Glasgow 2026. This is your chance to lead two thrilling, fast-paced formats of basketball in a global, inclusive arena – helping deliver an unforgettable Games-time experience for athletes, officials, and fans alike.

As Sport Competition Manager – 3x3 Basketball and 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball, you will lead all planning and delivery aspects of these integrated competitions. Working closely with FIBA, IWBF, national federations, and internal delivery teams, you will ensure all technical, operational, and logistical components meet international standards and align with the values and objectives of Glasgow 2026.

This role is central to delivering a seamless, accessible, and athlete-first competition experience. You’ll collaborate with teams across Venue Operations, Technology, Logistics, and Workforce, while managing a small internal team and working hand-in-hand with sport stakeholders to achieve Games-time excellence.
